We may offer to buy your old
instrument or instruments on a horn by horn basis. We cannot promise that we
will buy each and every horn offered us but we will do our best.
We can tell you up front that we are not hot on student horns,
Chinese horns or pre-1920 horns.
It works like this. If you have an instrument
that the you think will be of interest to us, you should contact
us by e-mail or telephone and be prepared to e-mail us decent
pictures of the horn. We will then immediately review the
pictures and make a decision whether or not we are interested in
purchasing your horn.
If we are interested we will make an offer
and agreed with you on a method of payment. Then you ship us the
horn at your, or our, expense as previously agreed upon. Once we
have received the horn in good condition we will pay you
immediately via the method agreed.
This Old Horn is a licensed corporation doing
business in the state of Kentucky. If you have any concerns that
you are sending your horn off to someone disreputable, you can
rest easy with us as we are a business noted for our honesty and
integrity and have been buying and selling forms at this
location for over 10 years. Should you desire, we can present
references.
That's all there is to it. It's a simple way
of converting your grandfather's old sax that's been hanging
around in the closet for the last 30 years or that old vintage
horn you played in college into cash money. This Old Horn buys
many of its horns from individuals by this process and we have
inquiries almost daily from folks offering us their instruments.
We can't, or won't, buy them all but we will certainly give each
instrument a fair look over and probably at the very least give
you some valuable information about your horn. Before you put
that old closet queen on eBay why not give us a call to see if
you can get your money quicker and easier by selling to us.
