From the shop of George
Borodi comes this stunning 1970 baritone completely
re-done and re-built with matt gold over the whole body and
bell. The inside of the bell is correctly gold-washed and the
keywork is bright German silver. This is a later 12M which was
either originally built in Elkhart or Abilene, hard to tell as
'70 was the McMillan transitional year. This is NOT a Nogales,
AZ built Conn and is identical to the long line of Elkhart 12Ms
with the exclusion of rolled tone holes and the "fingernail
file" G# key.
This fine Baritone looks and plays
fantastically well and is a chance to own such a great baritone
at a fraction the cost of the earlier and original lacquer
horns. If you like a re-furbished instrument put in perfect
condition with a new neck, Conn Reso pads and a like new ProTec
case, here's a deal for you.
The horn is fresh out of this re-build
including new: pads, corks and springs.
Ships in its own Pro-Tec bari case in great
condition.
